I. How to Protect an Account from Hacking? Basic Guidelines.
1. Do not share login credentials with anyone! Please note that multiple Users playing on a single Account is not allowed in Margonem and is punishable in accordance with the Scale of Charges.
2. Log in only on the Margonem Homepage! lways check that the website you’re on has the address www.margonem.com. Never log in on websites with suspicious names such as: faster-margonem.com, margonem.c0.com, gold-margonem.com etc.
3. When logging into Margonem outside your home, make sure not to save login data, and it is best to clear saved passwords and form data.
4. Password should not resemble your login!
5. The password should not be the name of a pet, wife, girlfriend/boyfriend, or any other person or thing that could be easily guessed by others.
6. Passwords such as "qwerty", "asdf", or "1234567890" are insecure!
7. A secure password should be at least 12–16 characters long and include numbers, special characters, and both lowercase and uppercase letters.
8. Remember to set an email address when registering an Account, and then lock it. The email address will not be changeable afterward, so even if the Account is compromised, a password reset can still be used for recovery.
9. Carefully read emails sent by the official Margonem system and do not follow any instructions if, for example, a code to disable email protection on the Account was not requested.
10. Players with CM, GM, or SGM ranks in the Game will never ask for a password.
11. If someone offers external communication, free gold, Ðraconite, valuable items, or other suspiciously attractive deals and asks for Account credentials, they are likely a scammer. Report them via the Contact Panel.
II. How to use passwords?
1. Do not use the same password for the Game and other websites, especially for email account.
2. Make sure your reminder questions for your email account don’t make it possible for anyone - even someone who knows you well - to guess the password to the Account.
3. Do not register on suspicious websites that you received a link to in the Game using your Game Login and password.
III. What should you do if you think someone has hacked into the Account?
If you suspect that unauthorized individuals have access to the Account, follow these steps:
1. Recover the password. You can reset the password once per hour.
2. Change the password to a new one immediately after logging in. Follow the guidelines above.
3. NEVER use the same password you had before the theft!
Theft is almost always caused by a failure to follow security guidelines, particularly by sharing login credentials with another Player.
IV. Can I use an Account in the Game that was previously used by another User?
No. This is not permitted. Changing the Account User is not allowed in Margonem and is punished in accordance with the Scale of Charges.
V. Can I let another Player play a little on the Account I'm using?
No. Playing on a single Account by multiple Users is not permitted in Margonem and is punished in accordance with the Scale of Charges.
VI. Service provider contacted me via an external messaging app and asked for login credentials.
Service Provider does not contact Players privately using external messaging apps.
VII. Game Add-ons.
To improve gameplay, you can use add-ons. Keep in mind, however, that:
1. The only authorized add-ons for Margonem created by the Service Provider are those available in the “Add-ons” panel in the Game Client.
2. You use all other add-ons at your own risk! This also applies to those advertised by their creators on the Game’s Forum.
3. Please note that automating or assisting the Game is permitted only if the Service Provider expressly authorizes it. By using unauthorized add-ons or other software, you assume the risk that they may contribute to prohibited activity on the Account. Such activity is subject to penalties under the Scale of Charges!
