Introduction - Items

What gives you an advantage over the other Players? A well-fitted powerful and rare equipment, of course. But how to get it? That's where the trouble begins. You can buy some items from the merchants, but their quality may not be enough. You can find much better gear by dead monsters, but you have to be lucky to get exactly what you need. Of course, the best items are in the possession of the most dangerous and strongest monsters. Items can also by bought from other Players, using the trading panel or by participating in auctions made available by auctioneers in every city. Some Players may get a powerful item, but not suitable for their profession, so they can put it on auction and still get something in return.

Apart from regular ones, there are unique, heroic and legendary items. These objects are especially rare, seldom dropping from defeated monsters. They are highly effective and have magical properties, but they appear very rarely after killing a monster. The probability for getting a unique item is 1:200, for a heroic it is 1:500 and for a legendary it is 1:2000! That's why they are so unique and expensive if they appear on sale, but they are still worth having.

If we kill a creature, we have a set probability to drop an item or get nothing. These values are pre-established and each monster can drop a certain pool of items. Wild animals, however, such as bears, wolves, salamanders, snakes and others can give claws, fangs or pelts. Gold and items can be only looted from humanoids.
